Position: Head of Motor Boat Pier

Camp Cody is a really fun way to spend the summer, and is filled with great people from all around the world. Last year, I had one camper that really wanted to learn how to waterski. I was able to take him out on the water and I got him up on waterskis the first day! The most exciting part of teaching campers is when they get up for the first time, and seeing the pure joy and excitement in their faces. My favorite moments on the water are when I have my campers from my first year with me and I get to see them improve their waterskiing and wakeboarding skills. It’s really rewarding knowing how I helped them and how much they love being on the water now. As the head of Motor Boat Pier, I also learned the importance of effective communication across our team when we have multiple boats out on the lake, making sure we ensure both fun and safety at all times.
