Camps d’été aux États-Unis
International campers
Camp Cody is a traditional camp offering typical American activities in the northeastern US on the shores of Lake Ossipee. Even if it is hot during the day, the nights are cool. We suggest shorts and t-shirts during the day and long pajamas for the night.
American Immersion
Cody maintains 80% of American campers, to give international campers a total immersion in American culture, including language.
We minimize the number of international campers in each cabin (dwelling) in order to preserve the practice of the English language. In each cabin, international campers are encouraged to speak only English, which facilitates their understanding with their American comrades.
Tradition in America
International campers will have the opportunity to discover some of the amazing traditions that only a camp in the United States can offer.
Campers have the opportunity to participate in half a day and a full day of hiking in the White Mountains, renowned for their landscapes, waterfalls and specific animals of the Northeast. Campers also participate in camp fires where we sing traditional camp songs.
In addition to enjoying the nature of New Hampshire, campers also discover the American water parks and, according to their age, the city of Boston.
The Essentials for Camp
International campers are requested to arrive on Saturday prior to the start of the camp at Boston Logan Airport. An option is offered to them to benefit from the linen, so as not to travel with pillows, blankets or towels. Campers will not need money unless they want to buy additional souvenirs during their trip. Cody provides all meals and snacks during and off-site.
